How it works

What working with a DME provider looks like

If you've never used a durable medical equipment company before, the process is simpler than it sounds. Here's the path from prescription to setup to ongoing supplies.

Completing equipment paperwork next to a respiratory device

Step by step

From prescription to resupply

  1. 1. Start with your provider

Sleep therapy and oxygen equipment requires an order from your physician, often after a sleep study or oxygen evaluation. We can coordinate directly with their office.

  2. 2. Send us the prescription

Your clinic can fax or send the order with any supporting documentation. Tell them Dublin Medical Equipment and we'll take it from there.

  3. 3. Coverage review

We review what your plan generally requires for the equipment ordered and let you know what to expect before anything is dispensed.

  4. 4. Fitting and setup

We fit your mask or cannula, set the device to your prescribed settings, and walk you through use, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

  5. 5. Supply replacement

Masks, cushions, tubing, and filters wear out. We help you track when items are eligible for replacement and get them ordered.

  6. 6. Ongoing support

Leaks, pressure discomfort, noise, or a machine that isn't behaving — call or text us and we'll help sort it out.

Resupply

Stay on schedule without thinking about it

Worn cushions leak, dirty filters strain your machine, and old tubing collects moisture. We keep an eye on your replacement schedule and reach out when items are due.

  • Reminders when supplies are eligible for replacement
  • Help documenting what your plan generally requires
  • Mask refits when comfort changes
  • Straight answers about what you actually need
